This Ordinance Amends Chapter 34 of the City Code to Establish a Voluntary Rental payment escrow program for tenants renting in the City of Wilmington. Further, the Ordinance deletes outdated references to “Municipal Court.” JOHNSON #0297 An Ordinance to Amend Chapter 45 of the City Code to Establish a Water Utility Assistance Program (1st & 2nd Reading) Synopsis: This Ordinance is being presented by City Council for City Council’s review and approval. This Ordinance amends Chapter 45 of the City Code to create a permanent Water Utility Assistance Program, to be administered by the Department of Finance. The Water Utility Assistance Program will provide eligible City residents, as established by the Department of Finance, with financial assistance to pay water and sewer bills. #0298 An Ordinance to Amend Chapter 45 of the City Code to Require that City Council Calculate Water, Sewer Service, and Stormwater Rates and Charges be Calculated Every Three Years (1st & 2nd Reading) Synopsis: This Ordinance is being presented by City Council for City Council’s review and approval. This Ordinance amends Chapter 45 of the City Code to establish a threeyear structure for water, sewer service, and stormwater rates and charges, to become effective in Fiscal Year 2025. #0299 A Resolution Encouraging the Delaware General Assembly to Support SB No. 2 to Better Regulate Firearms and Promote Responsible Gun Ownership Synopsis: This Resolution is being presented by City Council for City Council’s review and approval.
